What is left to ‘let go’ of?

“So I meet so many people around the world who are trying to let go of or release thoughts and feelings, they’re trying so hard to be free from thoughts and feelings. Of course that’s the mind’s version of freedom, that’s always the mind’s conversation with present experiences. ‘How can I be free from you? How can I be free from you, fear? Hey anger, how can I be free from you? Hey doubt, how can I free myself from you?’
So that’s how the mind conceives of freedom, it’s some kind of destination, some kind of goal.

So I’d like to shift the paradigm. What if freedom is not a goal? It’s not a destination? It’s not something that’s coming in the future, but freedom is actually your nature. So it’s no longer about, ‘How can I be free from thoughts and feelings? How can I free myself from judgmental thoughts or negative thoughts? How can I free myself from fear or sadness or shame?’
What if the true freedom actually lies in this allowing, allowing thoughts to be here, allowing feelings to be here. So you’re not trying to free yourself from thoughts and feelings but you are the freedom, you are by nature, it’s your nature, freedom. You are the freedom in which thoughts are allowed to come and go, feelings are allowed to come and go. The freedom in which fear is allowed to arise and fall, in which anger is allowed to appear and disappear. As if you were this great ocean of presence and every thought, every feeling was like a wave coming and going in your vast embrace and your ever present embrace.

And they all lived happily ever after

A Story For All The Children In This World

Once upon a time there were a queen and a king, and they were very happy together. They lived in a beautiful castle surrounded by the lush forests and meadows of their extensive kingdom, but their greatest joy were their four children.
Each child was something special, and since they were so different in their own ways, the royal couple had four towers built for them and styled entirely to their individual wishes and needs.

The eldest son was a Reflector, and his name was Raphael. His tower was covered with ivy and surrounded by old trees, which housed a lot of different animals. The birds and the squirrels and the deer and the bunnies came to greet Raphael each morning, and in some special nights the little Reflector even slept outside under the stars and the moon. He loved to watch the moon making it’s way across the sky, and he felt very connected to it and just as changeable and different each day and night.
When Raphael spent time with other children or grownups, he could sense what they feel, and that surprised him each time. He actually felt like a mirror: “Depending on who I am with, I see myself in a different way. Only when I’m alone I’m truly myself again”, he thought.
Despite his youth, Raphael was a precious advisor to his parents, because he could also sense the needs and moods of the entire population in his parent’s kingdom.

Are you serious?

Sjef Romijn talks with Fabrice Mars

Sjef: I want to make an analogy for people starting in Human Design. When I started in Human Design, that first day that I heard my Type, my Reflector Type, I also got this information about my Variables. So my PHS and all that.

Fabrice: Are you serious?

Sjef: The first day, and, it took me 5 years before I was actually ready to, to know about it, to work with it. Right? And I see many people, that are more interested in knowing about their PHS and this and that, than to use their Strategy & Authority, than to apply Human Design.

It’s this, this race for information. Right?

And I’ve made an analogy to, to give an example why I think it’s ‘wrong’, I mean, I’m not sure how to put it, but…

-When you learn how to drive a car, when you learn the rules of the road, you don’t need to know about the driveshaft-joints. It’s irrelevant. You don’t need to know it.

When you become a garagist maybe you need to know about it, but if you’re just starting to take your lessons with driving a car, or a motorbike, or… this information is not helping you.

It is distracting you from Living Your Design, because you go… ‘oh I’m Color 2, I’m Tone this’

What is the relevance? There is -no- relevance.

Some people, they use this information very quick and they use it correctly. Other people, 16 years into Human Design, they never touch it, it is correct for them not to touch it.

What is correct for you? And you can only find out what is correct for you: Strategy & Authority. Not, chasing information, and then, you know, wearing it ‘oh I am Color 2 and Tone so-and-so’

No, doesn’t work … like that

Talking about Human Design and my new guitar

Fabrice Mars talks with Sjef Romijn.
Fabrice: Hello Sjef. Nice to see you, always nice to see you and meeting some Opportunistic Role Model, working on himself. So, it’s a rare feat and it’s a treat to have access to that. That’s why I want to give you access to this equipment because I feel that you have many stuff to share with people about: “what is the experience of Human Design?”

Sjef: And it took me a while myself before actually making decisions according to my Strategy and Authority. I was caught up with knowing this and knowing that and then talking about knowing this and knowing that. But to actually, in my case of course I’m a Reflector, to wait, to actually wait with a decision, 28-ish days, to actually wait. And you know in the beginning not even looking at ‘ok today this is my decision’, tomorrow this is my decision and journaling all that. But just to, to allow myself to wait. That took a while before I actually started applying it. And once you do and once you know, once you -know-, then you make different decisions.

And it’s so different that when you are not mentally convinced about it, but you know, you -know-. I jump on my motorbike and I buy a guitar. I -know- this is correct and it happens. My mind was like: ‘what are you doing? You don’t have money for this guitar.’ So…? I did and it was ok, it was correct. And to find yourself not strategizing, not making it up, not … becoming mentally certain that it’s correct. I’m not certain that it’s correct. I do and then ‘ohh, ok, this is my experience and now I have this guitar, ok cool.’ And I just use the guitar and when it’s correct, I’ll sell it. Without trying to ‘oh I need money or I don’t need money, or I don’t have the money. This will be a good guitar, I like the color’, no. it’s not about this mental process, of trying to persuade myself it’s correct.

Fabrice: That’s the key element, because I see many people they take a decision and after, they make everything uuhh, they take all the parameters to make it possible. They go see people ‘oh please how shall I do it? Tell me, tell me. I need to go there, tell me the way.’ And ooh ok sure lets invoke the spirit. I don’t say you don’t have techniques and accesses and I am not denying this aspect of things but what it’s going to be of use for your daily life. Is it going to make it better? Or is it still the same like: ‘Universe listen to me?’

MoonBlog 46.5

First off: I personally enjoy the break-down of material and trying to rid what some see as additionals put in way after the Revelation, and I cherish the 2nd version of the Human Design Course book, simply because it is such a great break-down of the different elements.

However, these ‘mode to do’ and ‘mode to wait’, where do -they- come from? Why are they still in place, or did the voice really tell those as well?

But onto the video Zeno made about Reflectors and the misinterpretation of their Strategy & Authority:

Human Design Unleashed – The Choice

The term “no choice” often gets thrown around in Human Design. But “No Choice” can only accurately be described from the Witness or Passenger perspective, a state that few humans possess. In this inaugural rant John Martin challenges the day-to-day use of “No Choice,” and suggests that there is one…Its Not What You THINK

The Choice or No Choice.
You know, like so many other things in Human Design there’s terms that get thrown around that are very very dangerous.
You know, when somebody states ‘No Choice’ as a Passenger, as a witness, as a differentiated frequency of their Form Consciousness, then the statement ‘No Choice’ can be incredibly true and I would have to concede the point ultimately yes there is no choice. You are sailing, sailing through your life from birth to death. You’ve been given a Trajectory, you are going there.

But like so many other things in Human Design where the information, the incredible Zen knowing that comes from that statement ‘No Choice’ simply empowers your mind like so many other pieces of Human Design that simply just is one more little bit of candy to keep you nicely comfortable asleep.

So I will challenge ‘No Choice’. I say there is a choice. The choice is to either let your mind run your life or to differentiate into a Form Conscious being. Now look, those two choices, very different. One will give you pain, the other will give you suffering.

To become a differentiated Form Consciousness, to put down the little teddy bears of your mind and wake up as yourself is not an easy task. It will be painful. All of your Open Centers, the addictions you’ve been feeding since birth are going to rebel. Your mind is going to rebel. It’s going to do everything it can to hold you hostage. To your own mind. To your own conditioning. To break free of those addictions, the addictions to those Open Centers and everything that you’ve been feeding that pain body, all of this time, is going to hurt.
