On His 75th birthday, Nikola Tesla gave an interview with the press. During the interview the conversation led to the subject of the human mind. This is what Tesla had to say:

But more so, there is no Root in the Transits, only people and objects can have centers, but nothing actually gets defined, it is just a graphic representation of said energies, but there are no floating centers anywhere in space or something. So the root is not open, or ever defined, in the Transits. Only people that get born now or in 88-ish days get these transits as their imprints, defined (activated at least)
Also, effects is always 1+1, so you plus said energy/transit = perceived result/experience.
And then (yes there is more) even if born the exact same day and time, transit energies can have a very different effect on each individual, because we are, unique individuals.
no one’s design changes by Transits, its all just external influence. It’s just wrong to word it like that. People, including Reflectors, believe the weirdest shit about their chart and HD.
Besides, the Reflectors sampling experience is about -all- 64 Gates, not only when on the surface of the map, this Transit connects to that activation and forms a -temporary conditioning channel-.
For instance, I don’t have Gate 30 activated, nor Gate 41, but it can have an incredibly deep affect on me. But when Gate 10 is in the Transits, forming a temporary conditioning channel to my 20, nothing, not a thing. Yet everyone is running wild about how it should, would, could affect me.
This is why journaling your factual experience and perception is key. Not staring at some colors on a piece of paper and pretending it is this, or that.

Following last week’s transit through the Gate of Crisis, the Sun is now entering into an energy of the higher self. Its role is to point you toward your true nature. It’s an opportunity to return to innocence.
And, it’s fitting that the Vernal or Spring Equinox occurs during the time of this transit … a time when the dark and light are nearly equally balanced.
Those who possess a pure heart are best guided by their instincts and intuition.
Innocence implies a natural harmlessness, openness and pure intention that isn’t contaminated by ulterior motives.
Beauty can then emerge from an innocent heart that remains open to joy and wonder. Innocence, when guided by a conviction to what is right, can bring supreme success.
The hallmark of innocence is a willingness to treat all creatures with compassion and respect.
This innocence isn’t designed to bring love into the world in any specific way, but rather to love without discrimination.
The mystical potential of this type of love is transcendent and universal.
And, your spirit’s innocence is constantly being tested. You can meet these challenges from life like a spiritual warrior, fired up and ready to compete for your true nature (spirit) no matter what you encounter.
Thinking too much may sever the link with the guidance that comes from your inner truth.
The grounding energy is Determination or Pushing Upward. Reminding you that when you let go of expectations, you can find yourself in the right place at the right time.
So, if you trust in perfect timing can you love the perfection in every experience – good or bad?
There can be magic in trusting your natural responses to take you through this journey called life … in perfect timing.
Can you be sensitive AND determined?
Will you bend, but not break when obstacles or challenges arise?

If we’re not to live by the energies of the Transits, but by our S&A, why are these snippets written as if we do? There is no ‘returning to innocence’ unless we live (out) the Transits. The information about the energy only applies if imprinted with it, and even then only as a potential. How they show up as a Transit in our lives, with each of us as the active filtering agent, remains to be seen.

learn to observe, by journaling, Transit tracking is a great help, to get the fuck out of the mind, cause it is not about doing anything for that mind, not about learning new tricks, or more psychology, or more ego/mind catering and caressing with rituals and accessories. It is about leaving those behind all together, cause you wont need any anymore.
This 2 overviews above are wrong cause ‘they’ used orbit data –around the sun– to calculate how long a planet was in a gate or line, but the movement around the Rave Mandala wheel is an orbit –around Earth-.
So I did some calculations and came up with this:
Mercury as short as 358 days and as long as 405 days, on average 366 days.
Duration in one Gate: ~5.7 days
Duration in a Line: ~22.9 hours
Venus as short as 293 days and as long as 410 days, on average 369 days
Duration in one Gate: ~5.8 days
Duration in one Line: ~23.1 hours
Mars as short as 528 days and as long as 712 days, on average 679 days.
Duration in one Gate: ~11 days
Duration in one Line: ~42.4 hours
By actually going there. So not only think about Human Design and your chart and all its details (while also important), not just contemplate the information and its implications (while also important), not just study Human Design (which for some is quite important), but by actually going there, by trying to live it, by making mistakes, by experimenting and experiencing, by comparing your experiences with the theory and other peoples stories. By learning to not only understand but having the experience, of which energy is yours and which is not yours through Transit Cycle tracking and journaling. Deconditioning is something we do.
And if you need support in doing so, find that support.
The how question is one of mind, but mind can not solve it, not ahead of experiencing at least. It is not within the capacities of mind to ever solve it. We factually need to go and experience it, ourselves. We can talk about what it was like doing so, with others, but hearing what it was like, for others, does not decondition -you-.

We are not here to live the Transits, but to see their effect on us.
And I know Ra has said these things (too), but damn, even as a Reflector (here to be so intimate with that Program) this really does not work for me, at all.
Transits are the weather:
When it rains (1st line day) you do not become that rain (study); you get wet (!)
The Transit chart shows the chart of today, so ‘Personality’ side
But nothing gets imprinted, cause this only happens twice in life, 88 Solar degrees before being born (which then becomes the Design imprint) and then at birth (the Personality side). Everything else, is not you, is the weather, an external influence.
So the Transit chart of now, does not even have a Type, since Type only emerges out of the Juxtaposition of Design and Personality together, of 2 imprints of Crystals only. Type is form functioning. It can not be separated.
The Transit chart looks very open, yes, but it does not mean, that everyone will experience these Transits, or not experience them (!). Not Reflectors, not other Types either.
I do not have Gate 30 activated/imprinted in my chart, nor the Gate at the other side of the channel, Gate 41. but when the Transit is in Gate 30, and this could be the Moon, or the Sun, or Jupiter. I can experience deep emotional overwhelm. And, this is a pattern, it happens often when something is in Gate 30.
Even when the Transit chart shows ‘no definition’, and I don’t have neither Gate 30 nor 41, and exactly this, this noticing, this observation from experience, is half the story of the Lunar Cycle.
There is no homogenized effect on anyone else (or at least, not forced/fixed) to experience cosmic baths, openness or the opposite, when Transits happen. It can only be, your own unique experience, which by journalling you will find out, how -you- sample life, differently, than I do, or any other Reflector does.
That really also is the power of Human Design, to become your own observer and finding your own truth, without having to listen or believe anyone else. Experientially. To become, your own Authority.

What is this notion of a cosmic bath? Right now the Moon is in Gate 34 forming a temporary conditioned definition with my Gate 20. Besides we’re not here to live the Transits themselves, and even then, our individual experience will always be different, regardless of what the resulting chart looks like. The chart is not the life (!)
The other day (August 21st 2020), Earth was in Gate 30 line 5, which I do not have in my chart, nor do I have Gate 41, but I’ve never seriously felt more depressed and suicidal than ever before, when for instance I was in much more dire situations/outer circumstances. No I was just sitting there on my bed, watching tv, a comedy even, and I became deeply depressed and suicidal. This Gate 30 has always been a huge trigger for me. Nothing cosmic or bath-like for me, unless it was to drown myself in, to die.
There are no fairy tales in Human Design and certainly no homogenization, so when there are no channels formed by the Transits, it does not have to mean anything at all, and most certainly not for all Reflectors, no made up surprises, nothing the same for anyone/everyone else. Even when ‘no definition’ shows up. Nothing is fixed, not positive not negative.

“Hello everyone, I’d like to make an important clarification about following transits that is long overdue: This group is for those who are sincerely living their strategy and authority and understand that following astrological transits is very different from a nine centered point of view than it has been historically for many of those interested in astrology. Astrology originated in a seven centered era, when we were strategic beings focused on survival. Within that context there was rightly a strategic intent to following transits.
For nine centered humanity today, it’s clear to me that transits are not opportunities to do something. Even if you recognize a transit like mercury retrograde as an opportunity to re-evaluate things, it’s not an opportunity for your mind. Your mind will want to play out scenarios with that transit, all of which are not self strategies. You don’t know what things you’ll be re-evaluating, and how that will play out. You’re not going to get what your mind wants. It’s just something to be aware of as it’s happening to you and to others around you. It’s not wise to pencil into your calendar “time to re-evaluate my contracts” just because mercury is in retrograde. You don’t know that that is where your energy wants to go. I bet you will re-evaluate something, but you don’t know what, when, and how. You’re not in control of that. That’s mental intervention that inhibits the natural flow of your life.
We are conditioned by neutrinos, not in control of them. They will color your life according to roughly predictable themes, in the context of your design…pushing you in directions…but there is no way to utilize them for our own ends…attempting to do so is the definition of acting from the not self. There is merely identification with that transit energy or not, and even in that we have no choice. We can only see what we can see at any given time. We don’t get to choose to have the awareness to not succumb to transit conditioning. Just because you know a transit is happening doesn’t mean you’re beyond being pushed by it. But maybe you’ll notice the impersonality of it later, and that will be of value to you. One way or another, we are always going to be conditioned. If you have the energy to be aware of how and to what extent, lucky you.
Do you want to be a part of a group that is created for witnessing the transits as they activate lines, gates, and channels in our lives, recognizing these energies that are conditioning us, so as not to identify with them, not to make decisions because of them, and not to take their themes personally? As someone who is in the experiment well over 11 years, and providing my own Transit/Lunar Cycle service, I find the Transit Tool provided by myBodyGraph very advanced, very elaborate too. Maybe even too advanced for beginners.
However, there is so much functionality in it, some obvious by just clicking here and there, some perhaps not so obvious.
So is it for beginners? Yes and no, for some it will be an online honey pot and resource of incredible information, for others it might be a nerd fest of overwhelm.
At the same time, the information that is provided, like all Retrograde Planets, and when they start or end doing so, and other statistics, the live view is fascinating.
Over time one will use a few key functions I presume, you may gravitate towards some different ones than I would, and because it is so elaborate and vast this is all possible.
When having access to Steps 2 and 3 on just one chart, but then not having that same access in the Transit Tool is unfortunate and only overcome by buying the unlimited access.

And once activating some of the many options in the ‘show’ menu under the Moon Cycle, another vast bank of info opens up to play with, which I enjoy very much, which I can imagine any beginner struggling with, but starting out with selecting and deselecting which options to show, may help there indeed.
The Ephemeris part did not phase me that much, but can imagine other people have a field day looking forwards or back to certain events, although limited to the years 1900 – 2060. Ok I tried actually and got from December 31st 1899 until May 30st of 2061 😉
Add on: What is odd to me and may confuse others, is the use of the blue and green color. In the MMI, when making a Transit Chart, what is Resonant or you, becomes Green and what forms a Channel (Harmonic) is Blue. In this tool it is the other way around. Luckily there is also the Three Activations view, where the Red & Black of your own chart remain intact and Transits are Green, as seen in the picture top right.

What is The Program?
The Program provides a continuous cyclical conditioning influence upon humanity, and it can manipulate the mind through openness in our design, reinforcing the mind’s use as the decision-making authority. The Program is created by the daily movement of the planets in their orbits around the solar system. According to the Human Design System, the cyclical orbiting trajectories of the planets influence the data-stream that permeates all of existence. This data-stream is the very intelligence of the universe, and is filtered and transmitted through each planet. Each planet has its own cycle around the wheel, commonly called a transit of a particular gate. For example, the Moon moves through each of the 64 gates in approximately 28 ½ days and the Sun and Earth cycle through each of the 64 gates in one year. Some of the inner planets such as Venus, Mars, and Jupiter take weeks or even months to transit a gate, while the outer planets, Neptune and Pluto, can take years to transit a gate.

The Lunar Cycle lasts roughly, on average (!) 27.3 days, more easily referred to as 27.5 days, many Reflectors say 28.5 days, even if it is observed as short as 26.6 days as you can see on this page.
Never 29.5 days, since that is the Cycle of the Lunar Phases which is the observation from Earth of reflected Sunlight on the surface of the Moon (ie synodic month), which has no direct relation to the Moon’s actual position relative to the Earth and through the Rave Mandala.
