Environment is a frequency, not a place
Environment is a frequency, not a place (it is not atomic) and thus it does not ‘look like’ anything.
Human Design describes a few mechanics as a context, but you cognize it, with the Tone of your Environment.
However, it is also a domino, so if you do not live your S&A, to even apply your PHS, the Color frequency between your Design Crystal and Magnetic Monopole is off. To live your Design, to apply PHS and Environment is what helps stabilize this frequency.
And after a little while of implementing the PHS (Color is how you digest life, Tone is how you cognize what to digest) only then will you even be able to cognize the next step, Environment.
Else you can show up there, in aura, but the Color frequency is not yet stabilized, so garbage in, garbage out, the Magnetic Monopole (Driver) is not in tune with what is going on and thus you can not get onto -your- Trajectory.
It will be a ride, just not for you or about you and possibly more difficult to experience.
Once that Color frequency is stabilized on the Design side through both PHS and Environment, do we cross over to the other side, where the Color frequency can not be stabilized (see-saw between this&that), to Perspective and View, to see (finally) what we are here to see, so we can become properly Motivated, to arrive at our Outer Authority, for others. Not before.
So, Live Your Design (Type, Strategy, Authority) first, to even get to PHS, to then get to, Environment, so you can get onto your Trajectory, to get to See, to get to be Motivated, is the story Human Design shares.
Feeding your brain with the right frequencies (since it is not just food) helps grow your capacity to cognize that correct frequency, for you.
Kitchens, is a glossary term, to phrase it, to give it some form of words. Kitchens are places (frequencies) of production and changing things into other things. Alchemy
Markets, are places of interaction, of buying/selling goods, exchanging services.
Valleys, are the lowest point, where data/the river flows, people interact and share stories (data), a market can be in a valley, in a city.
Wet could be a jeans factory or a (fluids) testing facility, dry could be a library or research laboratory. It is not a single/singular place with a faucet and a sink and a cooker.
All 12 Environments could all be in one single restaurant, each corner a different function, a different frequency.
