MoonBlog 16.2 the cynic
So many people achieve a sense of self worth and identity, in comparison, so through their work circle, the people they know through hobby or activity, the causes they adhere too, or not adhere too at all, whom they invite and not invite for their birthdays, by which car/brand they drive/own, what kind of house, its value, the street or neighbourhood it is in, which tools they prefer over that one, the store they do, or do not shop in, online or In Real Life. It is a form of snobbism and separation/exclusion, mentally, how they separate themselves from ‘them’, how their me, is an ‘us’.
Even if of course there is no logic to that because of all the different people in this circle versus that one, and they meander into several different ones, since not everyone who lives in a house like theirs, pays the same amount of taxes, or indeed drives the same brand/version of car, and then very different people shop there or vote for him/her.
Human Design helps you connect with yourself, through your own actions and your own correctness, by your very own observations and those alone. It helps you value and identify yourself, as your very own self, and is not dependant on these others in the same groceries store, or at the same tennis shoe store, anymore.
It stops measuring and comparing with those ‘happenings’ as a meaning and knowing full well separation is there but of a very different kind, uniqueness does not need any comparison or snobbism, and has no use for self aggrandization thoughts by diminishing others nor does it look up to anything else ever again.
You get to hold yourself warmly, by how you wash your dishes, make and drink your coffee, all by yourself, for yourself.
Which you may want to share about with others about. But not to explain yourself, defend yourself, aggrandise yourself. Just you drinking this coffee from that machine with whatever you do or not put in it.
Just you, by yourself, alone, being your own comfortable Inner Authority (center based or process based). Even in those moments when not that comfortable at all. Just uniquely you.
