It really seems the Tutoro is the way to go. As it gives off about a drop a minute when you ride, and only when you ride. Full stop in traffic-jams during rush hour or in front of traffic lights it does not give off any oil (or perhaps 1 drop). The Scottoiler connected to the engines vacuum would give off oil whenever the engine runs.

With Cobrra, Osco and Loobman, once the plunger is pressed or pulled or swiveled a quarter turn, oil will come, and relatively a lot of oil all at once, so you need to be driving at a given speed for it to work properly. If you need to stop shortly after activation, oil will run off the sprocket/chain onto either the ground or your tire.

Also the timing of a certain amount of oil every once in a while is better than using spray bottles, but dosage is more accurately administered with the Tutoro, 1 drop a minute, only when you drive. And in heavy rains one can adjust say 1/4 or 1/2 turn more oil/drips per minute.

As it turns out, the overlap is missing, rotted away. The header pipe is missing about 4cm, and when trying to take the pipes of, they snapped off on top, while the brackets remained stuck. On the collector side another 4cm broke off as well, exactly where the header goes in. So much for fixing it, replacing is the only option now.

R 1100 RS in gebruikte maar goede staat, aparte kleur zwart/antraciet, verkoop wegens overstap naar lichtere motorfiets.

Met werkende ABS voor en achter, handvat verwarming, goede accu en onderhouds rapport vorige eigenaar. Wilbers achtershock Type 641 Competition (compression low-speed and high-speed, adjustable rebound), steelflex remleidingen voor en achter. Hoge ruit (smoke), 2 identieke sleutels voor alle sloten (incl koffers).

En verder: Iridium bougies, K&N luchtfilter, GS handkappen, 24 steel floating bobbins op beide remschijven voor, stuur trilling dempers verwijdert (originele meegeleverd).

Aandachtspunten: grootlicht schakelaar doet alleen seinen (2dehands schakelaar va €40). 3e versnelling wordt niet op de FID (scherm) weergegeven (maar werkt gewoon prima). Voorste zadel oppervlak begint langzaamaan slijtage te vertonen. Niet gepoetst wel schoon en lekvrij.

Komt met originele Touring Koffers (31 en 32Liter) en volledig kofferrek (kan originele topkoffer op)

Naissance d’une moto : la BMW

Reportage au cœur de l’usine motos BMW à Berlin où sont fabriqués et assemblées à la main les modèles du constructeur allemand. Dans les ateliers, les mécaniciens assemblent et testent les moteurs de type Bicylindre à plat, une machine se chargent des chromages des éléments, des manutentionnaires fabriques les roues à rayons puis sur la chaine d’assemblage, les éléments sont emboîtés pour recevoir le réservoir peint à la main.Les modèles ainsi sortis de la chaine (de type R90/6) sont finalement testés sur un banc.

The bike has got a new/2nd-hand brake-pump (only half the mileage), new speedometer cable, brand new hand guards, wiring for GPS and Gerbing heated gloves, new oil seal in the final drive, the valves clearances are checked & adjusted and the CO from 5.5% back to 1.5% (!), front wheel has a new air valve and both fuel lines now have a dual-sided quick dis/connect.

So took the bike for a test drive to get the Ikea Garlic tool 😉
